Ok, So I realize I just posted but couldn't resist sharing this inspiration with you.
I stumbled on to a person by the name of AMY PURDY. Heard of her? If not, you won't forget her after reading this.
She lost her legs at 19 due to a freaky septic/blood situation eerily similar to my experience except she had bacterial meningitis. She has turned her life into a very active snowboarding, acting, modeling & speaking world. She even went to South Africa & helped in a Shoe Drop for TOMS Shoes -- can't get a much more satisfying experience than that.
